Gem of a place. Nicely located on the seafront. Easy access to beach. Good food, reasonable prices. Lovely ice creams and lovely staff too (great customer service, thank you)

When we went no food was available just sausage rolls and plastic wrapped cakes , Luke warm drinks best things were the ice creams , for people going out on. A trip places have to do better than this , how hard is it?

Called into the cafe this afternoon after waiting for 30 mins to place my order for coffee & cakes when I asked the young girl behind the till I?d the cakes were fresh she looked confused and said she didn?t think so . I ordered 2 coffees and 2 chocolate bars instead after waiting for another 20 mins I returned asked how much longer it would be couldn?t get exact time so ended up with a refund. what a waste of nearly an hour of our time. I seen people waiting for over 20 mins for the lady to come out and do the ice creams, shocking service so no definitely won?t be retuning

Lovely milkshakes here today! My little one decided that the buckets and spades inside needed some "reorganisation", and the staff were very kind and understanding. We will definitely be returning again soon ?

Great little food hut, unfortuntely cash only as it is an old war shed so they do not have have any signal for a card machine. But the food is great, they sell sea shoes which is usefull as mersea beach is a little stoney on the way to the sea, slush puppies, ice cream, chips etc. Staff are great, young lady named Jesus was my favourite ?.
