Unfortunately can?t give a minus star review. Awful pub which we visited last night. A few local middle aged men were grouped round the very small serving area. No one moved so my husband had to shout our order over their shoulders. I managed to reach in between 2 of the men to actually pick up our drinks.
After reading the reviews I?m now wondering if the service we received was so appalling because I am of mixed heritage.
Definitely won?t be visiting this place again definitely more atmosphere on the moon.

The Victory in Walton offers a truly delightful experience, with wonderful food and excellent service. While a couple of orders did arrive a little late, it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment. I'd highly recommend stopping by for a fantastic meal!

Stopped for a quick after dinner drink.
Bar was quiet with a couple of local regulars.
Was promptly served drinks.

Absolutely brilliant can?t fault it the service is excellent the atmosphere great and as for the food well I could of sat there all night eating as it was so moorish been to a lot of restaurants in my time and I defy anyone to tell me there is a better pub/restaurant within tendering and a lot further afield in my opinion. The Steak was one the best I have had this Chef and his team have real talent Thankyou to all the staff can?t wait to return!!

Found The Victory today tucked away in the back streets of Walton on the Naze . What a little gem. The food is restaurant standard at pub prices. Had fish and chips and 2 small plates of asparagus peppers and cheese shavings with mushrooms on bruschetta. All beautifully garnished and served well.Friendly staff. Clean. Didn?t know this was available and been visiting Walton on naze for years.

Gorgeous pub - amazing food (best fish and chips I've ever had in a pub), friendly service, warm and cosy on a blustery day and dog-friendly throughout. What a find. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent food, great service and a lovely experience. A bit pricey, but worth it for the variety and quality of food. Even better that they are dog friendly.
