I would not recommend on a Saturday night as it was over crowded and poor staff run ragged.
Dietary restrictions: My partner can't have dairy or gluten and staff were very good at dealing with this and double checked everything we orded to make sure was safe.

Went in after work by myself 13:25 polite gentleman seated me and said my waitress April would be with me in 2 minutes, he even said to her ?1 top?. As soon as I sat down I could tell I was being ignored and decided if I wasn?t at least acknowledged by a waiter/waitress within 15 minutes then I would leave. Clearly didn?t like the look of me.

First time here trying this restaurant, took a friend out for lunch and was very disappointed. My husband had a grissly steak, 2 bits of onion, half a tomato and all our chips were definitely not fresh, portions very small and very overly priced for what we got. 3 people 2 alcoholic drinks 1 orange juice. Waited when seated for a long time for drinks and then orders. Waitress only appeared occasionally. Will not be going back.

We shared the Cote de Boeuf, having it with the red wine sauce, blue cheese dressing, and sauteed greens. The meet is said to be served medium, but nearly half was more medium raw than medium. They do have an option to carve the meet for you, which we asked for, and that worked well. The food was tasty in general. They do use a bit too much oil on their greens for my taste, though, and their steak knives are not sharp on the tip side, but the back part nearer to the handle works fine.
They have friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. There is plenty of parking as well.

Overall it was a pretty average meal, the biggest disappointment came with the sharing steak, every other steak restaurant has the steak pre cut for you. They didn't do that here.
Starters were ok, dessert was pretty poor.
Our waitress was nice but service was slow, having empty plates on our table for a long time, always having to ask for a drink rather than someone coming over to serve you.
I won't be rushing back.

Come there as a walk in at 18:30, they told me to wait one hours.
I said, I don?t make the booking anymore on their website, tables being available from 19:45.
I said? I will wait at the bar, with a drink and a snack.
After 1h when I saw they were not even looking at us, even if we were the first customers waiting for a table at bar, the room got full and one by one all other people received a table. ( not sure if all had reservations) as on the website, I managed to make a booking at 20:00, but still didn?t receive a table.
At 20:27 they come to invite us to the table, but I was already on the phone with Primo piatto,their neighbours which they could accommodate us, without hesitation.
Don?t recommend this restaurant as a walk in.
Go to enjoy the evening somewhere where staff will actually care about customers

We visited recently, and while the service from our waiter was excellent?he was friendly, polite, and very helpful?the food left much to be desired.
The lamb rump was particularly disappointing. I understand portion sizes can vary depending on the weight, but this was two very small pieces: one looked like a tiny lamb chop, Neither piece was cut, and it wasn?t served with the red wine sauce it was supposed to come with. The chips were overcooked, and it seemed like the food had been left under the heat lamps for a while before being brought to our table.
The lady who brought the food didn?t ask if we wanted any sauces, and by the time our waiter returned and asked, we?d already started eating.
The steak was fine, and the boys enjoyed it, the burgers were okay, chips overcooked and tasted dry.

Had a nice time for my nieces 16th birthday. Staff in general were really lovely. A big thank you to our waitress Lucy who was so kind and attentive to our big party/group.
Ladies toilets could benefit from some attention, however.

Very slow service, over an hour for main course, but what was most concerning, my partner has allergies, ordered creme brulee, and informed server , who came back to tell us there was no ingredients listed on the packet!!! Left us speechless, ordered ice cream instead, but certainly won't be returning, to establishment, that takes it time to serve mysterious food in packets???

Well Overpriced, chips cold no slaw as advertised on menu , shame normally good but prices have gone up and meal size and quality gone down, don?t honestly think a miller n carter which is a basic restaurant should be charging neally £40 for a steak

Undercook steak. Been asking for medium and my steak was rare full of blood... I been asking for a new one as i did put the sauce on it and they just offer me to remake the same steak on the grill which of course i refuse it! So they ruin our dinner. Never come back. Also the manager was rude and did not even apologize just took my plate.

Had better experiences here, definitely gone down hill.
Visited on a sunday afternoon and was expecting to be given the sunday roast menu which we wasnt, we had to ask for this which was odd as this is a new addition to their menu which they are currently promoting. It was probably a good 45min wait for our food and we all ordered the sunday roast sharer platter (4 people) so that is 2 roast platters... it was all lovely however rationing on the veg.
Service was incredibly slow and waitress very forgetful... i think we spent a good hour and half just waiting for things to be honest.
Won't be in a rush to go back.
