The best Indian food ever! The service is unbeatable! Welcoming and accommodating staff. The food is amazing, couldn?t ask for more. All the lower star reviews are unreasonable.

Order a takeout, the food was very underwhelming, definitely better elsewhere. Salad was thrown in a bag? not even a plastic bowl but a bag, looks like the doggy bags you use for waste. Very unhygienic. Forgot to include the naan bread however did end up delivering it again. Not worth it in my opinion.

As a snobby Londoner who is used to extremely good Indian, my hopes were not high when my parents told me they?d booked a table at Le Spice. But the food here is absolutely delicious, the staff are lovely, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. I?m currently tucking into some re-heated Le Spice as I?m writing this, happy as larry. Can?t wait to come back - especially for the mixed tandoori grill, the Dahl, and the peshwari naan!

This is the best Indian Restaurant ever.Food, service and food presentation is 2nd to none. Sabir is a lovely guy and explains every dish in detail if we have any questions.Very worthy winners for their Guardian award. The best I can say about Le Spice is that we moved 1 hour drive away to Colchester and travel down frequently just to visit Le Spice. A 2 hour round trip is a huge compliment.Vegetarian options: I am not a vegitarian, but the food is so delicious in here, I could so easily become one.Parking: Free parking after 6pm in the car park 2 mins walk away and free parking just out the back after 6.30pm.Kid-friendliness: We didnt have our child tonight but have been many times with him and he's always made to feel very welcome.

People were smoking ? in the restaurantKid-friendliness: Not at all, cigarettes smoke everywhereWheelchair accessibility: None, my then disabled husband struggled to get upstairs were we were told was smoke free hw climbed 4 flights of stairs only to get there and found other customers smoking

Excellent food. Great takeaway. Will most certainly return. Highly recommended. Only observation is that there is too much ghee used (i.e. in the Aloo Gobi) - I had to use tissue to soak up excess.
