Customer service was shocking, we asked to move as it was far too hot where we were sat, and they got funny with us, food quality was disgusting , raw potatoes hard cauliflower.
Temperature of the restaurant is way to hot.

food was lovely, however hadn?t booked and walked in and was told it?s super busy, however there was a table in the bar bit which we could still go to and get food however we would have a waitress. We sat down and thought to book for 17:50 as we wanted to sit in the restaurant part, I informed the waitress who was at the welcome desk and was met with 2 very rude ladies who said ?well I told you not to book as we are behind, why did you book? we decided to just eat our carvery at the bar section, however one of the ladies ( blonde one) then approached us and said ?oh did you decide to eat your carvery here then? we replied with ?yes thank you? she then replied in a very rude, nasty tone ?well I?ve been shouting your name for ages? we said ?sorry we didn?t hear you shouting for us? she walked off without saying anything. Felt like I was being told off for wanting to eat here. Was very disappointed. I work in hospitality and know how stressful it is when busy however customer service skills should be the main priority. Having manners doesn?t cost anything. You never know what people are going through. I went for dinner with my friend after a 10 hour shift at work and was met with a rather horrible experience wish I never spent my money here.

The food wasn't the greatest, The yoke in all the eggs was hard & the hashbrowns was teethbreaking, black pudding was super dry also ?

Very busy venue, all good but not quiet dining

We went as a group for the unlimited breakfast because I had an email voucher. The problems started as soon as we walked in the door. Voucher despite saying up to 6; people could only be used for one person which left the rest of the group having to sign up which felt like a data collection exercise. The plates were stone cold and the ones by the toast were wet. The food was hit and miss as some bits were luke warm. Very disappointing

Absolutely shocking experience at the White Hart Toby for breakfast. Booked a table and when we arrived we got to find our own seats. Queued up for 20 mins for the breakfast because the food continously ran out. The chefs were bringing out small portions at a time which would soon go after a few customers. The gentleman in front of us had told us he'd been there 1.5 hours and was yet to get any Sausages because they kept running out. When we got to the front multiple dishes were empty. My husband asked about hash browns and was told it would be a further 5 minute wait. When he questioned this he was told its a Sunday and their busiest day so what do we expect. It was very obvious they just couldn't keep up with the demand (even though multiple tables were empty).
When going up for coffee there was no sugar and they ran out of spoons
When taking our little girl to the toilet, the disabled toilets was dirty and the gents toilets were disgusting (my husband made a complaint about this)
Multiple people commented on the poor service.
We will not be returning.

I'm disappointed with this Toby Carvery. The waitress who sat us down placed us between two tables with young children, one was crying, the other was screaming, and one of the parents was smacking his lips to point you could here it across the restaurant. We asked to be sat at another area and the waitress said she only had this table and another one closer to the screaming child, despite the restaurant being close to empty. The table we were sat at had food all over the floor meaning we could not put our bags down, so my wife asked for a broom to sweep up with. Luckily the waitress took the initiative and kindly swept up all of the food on the floor for us but at this point we still hadn't sat down and she asked us what we would like to drink. We politely stated we hadn't looked at the menu yet. After we sat down, we saw the same waitress seat a couple down where we requested to sit, so our table wasn't actually the only table available. The cutlery we were given was not clean and we went to get others from another table which were also not clean. Service from this particular waitress was terrible and i wish we had walked out. But the roasties were calling.
Other than that, the different waitress who served us was nice and the food was good which save this review from a single star.
