I had to travel from hull to collect my wife from the airport not wanting to be late I set off early and booked a Sunday lunch . What a good decision the food was first class well presented and the staff were so friendly and helpful when I told them I had travel 170miles and had 3 hours to lose allowed me to use there snug and supplied with refreshments even the local customers gave me sound advice which I thank them all I had a superb meal good price and met some lovely people I will return thank you Ron Regan

This is honestly the worst place ever I'm not being stupid or anything so basically I smiles at the servers no smile back everyone was grumpy in there a very long time for the food to come the servers frown and there not that polite and they need to intract with there customers more I don't care what people say about this I spoke to other adults about this and they said the exact same thing there needs to be a lot on improvements in this restrung like servers are so rude I wouldn't recommend this.

My husband and I were looking for a pub lunch for a spontaneous day out. After googling we came across this pub. Located in such a beautiful location, this historic dainty beautiful little pub exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by a very lovely, friendly lady who served us straight away and made us feel comfortable. She was very sweet. The food was insanely good and all homemade. We were very impressed and the flavors! Best halloumi bites going! Not to mention the cool vintage juke box - the tunes were playing! Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome.

Very disappointed in my meal yesterday
Baked cod and roasted vegetables. I had cold ratatouille poured over my fish. Not good. The ice cream also was gritty didn?t enjoy any of it.

Had the most amazing haddock, chips and mushy peas (sorry ate it before I took a photo, followed by limoncello cheesecake which was yummy, thoroughly recommend this family run pub/restarantDietary restrictions: Caters for vegetarian and gluten free

Visited 19/05/24 - Sunday Roast was excellent. The staff are excellent. The staff and outside area for children is excellent. Good portions and quality food, it?s hard to beat this pub!Kid-friendliness: Huge kids area with a good sized climbing frame, swings and a slide.

What a lovely pub. Great atmosphere. You immediately feel at home.Excellent food (Sunday Roast), large portions, good prices. Delicious beer. Very attentive, smooth service. Also suitable to go with your children. In short: highly recommended!
