On Tuesday evening we had a Wizzair Flight from Birmingham to Bucharest booked. Wizzair overbooked the Flight and 12 people with tickets were taken out. Apart from all the shamelessness that Wizzair as a company and ethic in generally has, Swissport Birmingham was another sad chapter this evening. The two employess (a lady and a man) were obviously overwhelmed by the situation and their shift was ending (so much for the understanding part). But since they didn't manage to solve the situation (get a taxi, hotel, alternative flights) at one point, after 1-2 hours of everybody waiting for an accommodation, they simply started lying to get rid of the people. So, in order to leave home, at one point, they just said: All is good, the taxi is on the way, hotel is booked, it's a very nice hotel, and you'll have breakfast and dinner included. After (12 people!) waited 2 hours for the taxi to arrive (no contact number was left), we got in touch with a policeman and he with other Swissport people (we never saw them). The taxi hasn't been called, the accommodation was a straight 2,5 on Google maps on full of cockroach pictures in the ratings and the hotel had no food at all.
