Rude and unprofessional. How are they still in business with that attitude to customers? Stansted definitely needs another post office in the village!

Disgusting attitude from the Asian owners. Mrs is especially aggressive and rude. Being deliberatelyobtuse and difficult about processing pre-paid parcels and letters. Basically unless you're buying stamps and spending money in there they refuse to fulfil their function as a post office. What simply vile people.

I needed proof of postage, therefore could not post it in a post box, I even had a slip that automatically printed with the postage label that shows I needed to get it stamped as proof of postage. I've followed the royal mail postage email/info.Cut to trying to give this parcel to the parcel shop, as its, you know, their job to take parcels, she stood there acting like I was stupid because "there were so many other options' but it was apparently wrong that I'd chosen to take my parcel to a parcel shop, the most convenient option.She then told me 'i'll take it this time, but next time no', excuse me? Are you not paid to for the specific purpose of accepting the correct parcels. I should have read the reviews, and I feel so sorry for the girl that was being trained by this woman.She evidently doesn't want to do her job, and needs to update herself on the terms of royal mail.If dropping my parcel at a parcel shop, is an option that royal mail give, and easier than driving an hour to the nearest parcel post box, why am I an inconvenience for making you do your job?

They wouldn?t accept my parcel as it was too big (it was already prepaid) although it was less than 1kg and no longer than a ruler. They generally won?t help if it?s a minor inconvenience to them. They need a change of management.

If I could put this down as zero stars I would as this possibly is the worst post office I have ever been to the customer service is absolutely shocking they don't take any prepaid parcels. They bang on how they don't earn the Commission so you must buy from them I'm not being funny if you don't wanna be a post office don't be one. Oh and don't even think about picking up one of your missed parcels from there he restricts the hours from 10:00 AM till 1:00 PM because he said he hasn't got time to get him from the backroom because it's the school rush hour when asked but it doesn't say that on the pickup form he says no they are my rules you listen. Like other reviews have said this completely ruins the little village community that is there i will never be setting foot back in this little shop.So I highly recommend you either go to the elsenham branch which is a proper post office and the customer service is 5 star or the Parsonage lane mcalls post office who are very friendly but it's like gods waiting room with the queue.

It's unfortunate I can't give 0 stars as that's what they deserve, the customer service was absolutely shocking. The lady who works there is so rude and would not scan my pre-paid parcels. The Post Office company should investigate and penalise this branch as it's against their policy to refuse parcels like this. Needless to say I took my items elsewhere to a much friendlier Post Office and won't be returning to Stansted Post Office ever again!! Looking at other past reviews it seems to be an ongoing issue with them...avoid at all costs!

If you don?t buy the label from them they don?t want our business? Rude is an understatement, as you stand in the queue just watch the ?customer service? received by those in front of you ? Nothing - just contempt !!! Just like other reviewers, twice I have been told off for pre-paid labels, Told rudely ?they don?t get the commission, don?t have the space? and in my opinion don?t want to do the community role they?ve signed up to as a Post Office franchise. (but if you buy label from them they do have the space - umm?) They ruin it for our lovely village, it?s so upsetting going in there (I try not to if at all possible) I did apologise to the counter lady that I pre-printed my labels but I was printing the address anyway so printer running and I thought I was speeding things up at the till ? oh no? it?s only about their commission - really sad and utterly embarrassing to be told to leave as they don?t want to take the last of 6 very small parcels. Some of our older village community don?t have any other option and it upsets me to watch the disrespect shown to customers.

Every time I go in to use this post office there is an issue.Staff is always patronizing and telling people off for something.Not a single time I went in there without them telling me off.Don?t collect parcels in the afternoon because it?s busy and no staff to go to the back to look for your parcel, so I was told to never come back in the afternoon again for collection.There even seem to be a poster on the wall ordering people to only collect parcels at the time chosen by the staff ? God forbid to go when it suits you.Don?t queue this way or I won?t serve you again.Don?t bring pre paid post.I was also told off for coming in just few minutes before they supposedly closing even though the opening times online said there were open for another hour. When I mentioned that she said it?s not her fault, ?she told google to change it already? and made a big deal that she is closing now not when google says.I won?t be going back there. Not to use the post office or to buy anything from them ever again.Rude, unprofessional, unhelpful just to name a few?Good luck with the business.

Shame -1 star isn't shown, how rude, i took my pre paid Royal Mail post to the Post Office counter to be told, "We don't take those as no money goes in our till!" I said but its pre paid Royal Mail? No was the rude male assistants reply, Shocking customer service and so rude about it.

Same experience as others. If u bring pre-paid parcel you will be told not to do that again as no commission is paid to the shop when not buying postage from the shop.. The guy doesn't realise it's not all about the commission. I came to your shop because of post office. I could have bought overpriced chewing gum or whatever. But with this welcome attitude I only dropped the parcel and left.. Good luck with the business..
