Never again so we turn up staff was a bit blunt when we arrived room was ok but the bed was very uncomfortable very creaky every time you move there was work going on outside our room so in the morning it was loud night time was also loud because people coming out the club had to keep the windows closed to drown out most of the sound

We always stay at Travelodge when we travel around the UK. The room is ok with drawbacks. 2 of the 3 beds were dirty, with brown, sticky stains on the duvet and mattress cover. Also, the soap in the bathroom was empty. Aside from that, the room, hotel and location were good.

Back of hotel is a building site with work starting v early am. Windows don?t shut the noise out. No parking deal and wardens put tickets on from 8 am across the road if you?ve not updated parking on the app.

I had a very good time, clean room, good people, I felt happy and confidence all the time. María from recepción was polite and friendly, she was fantastic. Thanks to Maria and all Travelodge Southend team. I will back soom.

Reception lady was nice and helpful, even in the evening was a gentle man was helpful as well. I stayed for three nights, they didn't clean the room and didn't change the towels as well very disappointed. No sockets next to beds, no hair dryer, no iron. No coffee machine in my room. The small bed in the family room not comfortable. I think if you paid little more you can find better hotels around but we came late and this was our option as we were very tired. Very noisy at night so if you can't sleep in noisy environment this is not good choice for you.

Great value for money. Really hot inside the rooms although get a small fan it really didnt help. The town centre is 5 mins around the corner with lots of food options. Would stay again.

Rooms way too hot needs to install ac in all the rooms not just the lobby. If rooms had ac would be 5 star. Haria is an amazing staff member was kind and just grate all round. Would honestly be a 5 star stay if rooms had ac

The worst Travelodge I've ever stayed in by a long way. +£90 per night for a hotel with no parking, no bar, no restaurant and a breakfast option at nearly £6 for a bottle of water, cornflakes and a croissant or similar. Lady on reception probably gets lonely as no other staff on site. Lift smells of sweat and wee.
Room was quite big and had a fan but no plug socket near the window to try and draw cooler air in.
Won't be rushing back.

We got given a very big room, it was the accessibility room on floor 2, it was on the same floor as the reception. The bath tub and toilet had grab bars, for disabled guests.

Stayed 4 days great for exploring the area with a pub 3 to 4 minutes walk away serving beers cocktails and food.
