Posting on behalf of my elderly in-laws who have had the most awful experience trying to book and appointment today. Very rude receptionist with absolutely no empathy for an 80+ year old lady trying to get a doctors appointment for her sick husband. So rude they had her in tears! Kept telling her to book on line and if not happy with this then write a letter of complaint. They had to resort to a kind neighbour to call them directly on their behalf to eventually get an appointment. Got to do better than this Thorpe Bay surgery!!!!

The new Amina system. Does not work on my phone or on my lap. The lap top blocks the web site so I can notuse Amina. The 1st lady would not book an appointment for me. After 3 phones calls. I was able to talk to a different lady who was very helpful was able to book the appointment but it was a 10 day wait. She asked me contact Norton place. Who again very helpful, and understood the reason why my lap is block, he made a note on the system saying that I don't have access to the internet. I did get a text asking for feedback again I was blocked by the laptop internet.

the young lady on the Prescription phone line, who took the trouble to call me back with an appointment to see Dr Walla, made me feel immediate relief that someone was listening.I was very impressed by the service the surgery gave me. Dr Walla was very kind to see me and gave me a thorough look over and send me home with a presecription (without which I think my weekend would have been very different).It was very reassuring to know that there was someone looking out for me.kind regards

Shocking patient care. Completely dismissed by the receptionists when you have any requests or questions. No care or compassion shown at all.

My son filled in the questionnaire and no reply considering he was in so much pain with his back I've tried and tried to use this anima it's obviously not working plus I'm not tech savvy

We have found the doctors to be responsive and overall, helpful. Receptionist Sarah is always so helpful and goes above and beyond to help, when needed. The new Amina system is beyond useless and makes it impossible to book anything! Also have to mention Nurse Ruth who we have found to always be excellent. Although not perfect (where is) we will be sticking with this surgery.

DO NOT TRUST THI SURGERY WITH YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS. The disregard for GDPR is disgusting. Mixing up patient records is unacceptable. I was called in via text for an appointment I did not make. After spending ages trying to get through by phone, I was assured the appointment was correct , and was for a vaccination. I received a further text reminding me to keep my appointment. At the surgery, however, it turns out that due to poor GDPR practice they had booked two people with the same name on one appointment, having mixed up the records. And even worse, I did not qualify for the vaccination. The one star review is because I can't leave a review with no stars.

I?m not even a patient, but my partner is. Never seen such rude staff, it?s somewhat hilarious. Not only are the jobsworth receptionists rude to people as they walk in and ask questions, they?ll slag you off as you walk out the door.They always answer back saying ? Have you gone on the app?. There?s clearly been no communication about there being an app otherwise the patients would be using the app. ?AVOID THIS PLACE, it?s ran by headless chickens!

Receptionists are rude and unhelpful, never any appointments..We don't book advance appointments yet book advance appointments for the person standing in front of me!!

Been to the surgery since a child, the receptionist team are always very helpful and considerate when on the telephone or in person, especially Sarah, she is very warm and polite on the phone and goes above and beyond. I always feel they put patients needs first and they have been brilliant with my children over the years. The Doctors are always professional and polite. Couldn't reccomend them enough.

Doctor, Siddiqui and his team and especially Sarah have helped us out with the letters for medical conditions on moving and are very helpful and give us plenty of advice. Could not wish for a better service. Even if I moved out the area I would not move from the surgery.
