I've been using this practice (as have my family) for several years and have had no problems. Mr. & Mrs. Patel and their team are friendly, professional and helpful. The waiting room is bright and clean, the surgeries clean and modern ? much of the equipment looks new. The appointments system works well ? you can book months in advance, and you get email & text reminders so there's no excuse for not turning up!My most recent treatment was within the last couple of weeks ? sooner than my regular checkup was due but I'd broken a tooth. I was quickly offered an appointment (there are emergency slots and a cancellation list), I was given the options for treatment, the tooth was repaired & the checkup done. At no point was there any attempt to push the most expensive or any unnecessary treatment. We are fortunate to still have NHS dentists in the area.Few people like going to the dentist but the staff here go out of their way to make you feel at ease and the premises are bright, clean and modern. I have every confidence in any recommendations made and treatments given at this practice. A definite 5 stars.

Excellent service from all the staff at this dental surgery. Always friendly and professional and willing to help. All the dental work I have had done over the past 7 years has been carried out with care and expertise with great results and with no pain. Very pleased with the services provided by the whole team.

I would avoid this dental practice. The elderly women who owns the practice quite clearly has 0 people skills or customer service skills. She screamed and shouted at me for parking near her dental practice. She was the rudest person I?ve ever met in my life. People walking by and people out the back said this is normal behaviour for her unfortunately. Disgusting behaviour.

Unfortunately the customer service and interaction with reception staff left me with a pain in the tooth , pardon the pun . Being dictated to and spoken down to in a manner that is comparable to a power hungry headmistress was the last straw for me . If only dentist and doctors surgeries employed compassionate understanding staff that were able to leave their ego at home and treat people like human beings instead of objects on a conveyor belt maybe just maybe the Busniess would be more successful and have better ratings ..I would advise avoiding this practice I don?t see it lasting much longer with the current reception staff unfortunately. !

Totally disgusted with the service, booked an emergency appointment for which I drove 30miles back from work to attend. Was cancelled as I was 7mins late despite sitting in their carpark. I'll take my money else where!!!!

I went to thorpe bay dental practice for a simple referal to have a wisdom tooth extracted, it had been causing me pain for some time.About two weeks later i received a phone call asking me to sign a consent form for my referal ( which i assume they should have had me sign at the appointment )I returned and signed the formAfter over a week again i received another message asking me to return to sign the same consent form. ( the one i had already returned to sign for )They have delayed my referal for over a month durin which time i have been in agony. My tooth infection has now spread to my ear causing an ear infection which i now need to have a doctors referal for ( all unavoidable )I am now up at 5 am in pain unable to sleep, two months after my referal ( and still waiting ) taking the maximum amount of pain killers i can.I hope no one else suffers the pain i am going through.Find a good dental practice.

The Dental surgery is brilliant. The staff are so nice and efficient. Mr and Mrs Patel and the team, do so much for you. They are so great with my 2 little girls. They love going there and not scared at all. I could not say anymore really. But give them all the praise. Well done keep it up.

Very disappointed. There used to be an excellent dentist there when I first used them. Unfortunately, he left a few years ago and was replaced by a young girl.The quality of work became very poor and the staff didn't want to know about the problems.I had (and still have) a tooth missing , the gave me a denture. It snapped off after a couple of weeks. When i returned the girl said 'oh yes, they do that sometimes if it's just the one tooth', might have been nice to have been told in advance.I then decided on a bridge instead. Firstly, when it was fitted, it was too small. She made some excuse up as to why it was smaller than the neighbouring teeth. I had it fitted anyway as I was desperate to fill that gap. This bridge lasted about 6 weeks. When I phoned to complain they weren't interested.I still have the gap in my mouth and have now given up trying to sort it.If I do get it fixed it WILL NOT be through this place!
