Southend store waste of space twice I phoned and each time hung up .

Lift was broken on the day of our visit, so couldn't get to woman's section due to having baby in a pram. Understandably, broken lift is not any of employees fault, however, to my surprise not a single employee offered to help get upstairs with a pram.
Also, kept trying to call to find out if lift have been fixed now, so we don't waste our time getting to the shop in case it haven't, but no one is answering the phone.

Went for 2 pairs of trainers and a pair of walking boots for my son. I wasn?t sure if he needed a 12 or 13, so asked for both sizes in the 6 different trainers meaning the guy had to get 12 boxes from the stock room. They had both sizes in every trainer he?d chosen, which I was impressed by.
The man who helped us (Danny) also got the 2 different sizes of walking boots - even though they were on the shop floor (which I thought was super helpful) .
A really positive, pleasant experience.

Bit of a shambles. Will decline returns for the tiniest things. Managers on a real power trip. Staff just don't want to be there by the look of them.

Very disappointing. Bought 2 pairs of trousers for my son but they didn't fit very well. Took them back and asked for a refund, and even though I had the receipt, they refused. I was told I could have a credit note. I explained that there was nothing else that I wanted, but was still refused a refund. I thought the consumer had rights but obviously not in Sports Direct. Won't be shopping there again. Very shabby service
