I?ve ordered online from Uber eats, I?ve never looked up for a restaurant and gave them a one star, this I?m doing because they sent me spoiled food which is unacceptable, just want to make money but don?t care about customer health and safety , I would not recommend this restaurant at all

Had an amazing experience at Shabash Indian Restaurant in Leigh-on-Sea. From the warm welcome to the excellent service, everything was spot on. The waiters were incredibly knowledgeable, offering great recommendations that did not disappoint.
We started with onion bhajis and meat samosas, both packed with flavor, plus complimentary papadoms, which was a lovely touch. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked and full of spice, while the king prawn korai and lamb tikka naga delivered the perfect kick of heat. The dhaal was rich and comforting, and the saag was beautifully spiced.

Went in for a meal on New Years Eve for 2 people. We booked it about a week in advance and they even called us to check we were coming,
Upon arrival we were seated less than a metre from the main door, on a stool which wasn?t even really part of the restaurant. People were queuing and standing right on top of our table and there was a constant draught from people coming in and out of the door we were sitting right in front of. I don?t think this is a table that would normally be booked, I believe it is where the delivery drivers usually wait for their food.
We walked out and luckily found a much nicer Indian restaurant
Would stay well clear and definitely won?t be coming back.

Absolutely terrible! Booked a table New Year?s Eve and when we got there they said we didn?t have a table and we could sit by the bar where I normally wait when I order a takeaway(on a bar stall) well I won?t ever be going back ever spend £75 nearly every Saturday and £150 when we sit in there. It?s the fact we don?t have anywhere to go now at short notice for a meal before going out to welcome the new year in!! Disgraceful from Shabash you?ve lost a good customer

We really had a great time here sadly they throw away the left overs when we clearly ask for them to be packed to go twice ?
Lots of comments mention that the food isn't good and I don't understand we found it very delicious Maybe it is something to do with deliveries but on our occasion we dined in and it was all very good.

Not great. In a party of 5, none of us said our meals were particularly great, one of which had to go back. Combined with the cost at £40 pp with only one round of beers didn't make it likely we will be returning soon.

Anyone who thinks this is good food is clueless. Lamb was so tough could not cut. Chicken has horrible taste. Worst Indian ever experienced

Shabash has been our ?go to? for Indian takeaways for quite some time. We usually order directly from the restaurant over the phone and the delivery has always been within the time frame and the food is good. They are also very accommodating and will tweak a dish (e.g to make it veggie friendly) or come up with helpful suggestions when looking for inspiration. Usually I give them 5 stars, but recently some of the dishes ( jalfrezi, samosas) have been very peppery to the point they were inedible. Possibly a new/different chef? I?m hoping it?s temporary as we?ve always enjoyed our food up to now.
