Excellent store with all you need. Pity Southend Council have buggered up Victoria Circus making it difficult to access from the east.
Update: Still a good store but why have they closed their toilets? Some of us have a medical need for toilet access. Lidl can do it; why not Sainsbury's?

I have been a customer for 5 years every day or at least I am shopping at least 3 times a week. When I went to pick up a tube of milk this morning at 10:45 the guy that was putting milk away told me I can't have the milk that expires on 24th. But I can purchase the 23rd instead.?????????? Do I have the right as a consumer to buy any item i want from the shelves or not? Why this person is telling what I can or cannot buy?
After I bought what I needed and clearly annoyed from the guy telling me I am not allowed to buy the 24th?
After I go to the till I pay for my smart shop,paid for it and I went to bench to put items into my backpack then the only lady at the till shouting at me from a distance "excuse me have you paid for your shopping??" Customers are looking at me like I am a thief? And I said to the lady yes I did pay and show her the receipt. Then she said "ah ok that's fine" without apology. And I went to her again and I said how come you thought I didn't pay for my shopping? And she said it just because we had incident with ppl not paying??? So you thought i am one of them people stealing?? Oh thank you very much i am a loyal honest person and a customer from 2020 and its the first time I been accused of stealing and the first time I've been told I am not allowed to buy milk with a longer shelf life? Sainsbury's staff sort your self out pretty please? Managers train your staff how to behave to customers? Or to your every day customers? I feel everything was wrong today regarding human interaction. Big fail towards your (i repeat) loyal and every day customers. See attached receipt in case someone will accuse me of stealing? I do not recommend this place and will try and minimise my shopping from here.
Basic human interaction training NOW. customer service failure Big time. Avoid or be prepared to be accused of stealing because they have incidents like this all the time apparently.????????? UNACCEPTABLE and totally unjustified. I should change my dress type as I look like a thief to you guys.??????
