Awful experience we have alway ordered from this company but think I will be thinking twice about ordering from this place again its dreadful I ordered the food at 12:39 today the 11th December 2024 and didn?t receive the order until 14:30 which from a fast food place you would expect the food to be hot and it was only just warm don?t think I will be returning to the pizza place again and wouldn?t recommend

Pizza arrived to our hotel and hadn?t been sliced, 2 people trying to pull apart a pizza in a hotel room not great, pizza tots weren?t cooked properly. Won?t be ordering again.

Ordered pizzas and desserts at 14:30 for 15:45 to my son's birthday. Noone called or messaged me and pizza is nowhere at 4pm, so I called them. They blamed the delivery guy, the official PapaJohns' computer system and everything, didnt even say sorry. Still didnt tell me time for arrival...
Pizza arrived at 16:25.

Customer service is not good.And I am not interested to recommend this shop to anyone. Because in Southend there are many of other pizza shops far better than this.

We placed an order at 19:00 and it took 1 hour plus to prepare, during which we tried to phone but no answer. After 2 hours the order said it had arrived, but no one turned up.

Disappointed with Papa John's Southend branch. Ordered a vegan pizza, but it arrived missing vegan cheese. When I called to inquire, the manager was rude and dismissive, refusing to provide assistance or even his name. Appalling lack of professionalism. Will not be ordering again. So sad he couldn?t be empathetic and human. You?d think he?d have been nicer and then helped raise an issue to head office re a problem on the app! Super sucks :(

If I could give a 0 I would! Ordered 2 pizzas and 2 sides at 19:10pm, an hour and 20 minutes later it?s still showing as being prepared!!? Been trying for the last 40 minutes to get through on the phone & I?m currently at 25 minutes waiting for someone to answer!? If you are going to order a pizza from here I would suggest placing the order 2 hours before you actually want to eat. This place might have nice pizzas but they do not know how to deliver good customer service or even answer a phone!!

Shocking customer service. Placed an order online and wanted to make a very small amendment. I called the shop within 1 min and was told it was too late as its already int the oven. 1 hour and 10 mins later, still waiting for the pizza.
