They need to think much more about their approach to customers - Tye was very helpful on the phone but I don't think he was there when we visited to get a new phone and contract. There just wasn't the helpfulness and positive attitude that we expected. Their competitor along the road was great when we purchased my son's phone and help him set everything up with his social media accounts etc, but O2 said they couldn't help with password protected stuff (the other shop just handed the phone over to my son and asked him to enter his details before doing what they needed to). It was just like they'd taken our money and couldn't really be bothered with anything remotely after-sales like. If it wasn't for the fact that it'd give us the hassle of changing my wife's mobile number, I think we would have gone elsewhere.

Went in to update my SIM only contract got a fantastic deal even offered virgin media and given a full break down if we were interested

I walked in to the shop yesterday, I?m a o2 customer no welcoming at all just want to upgrade my phone. Not very helpful at all . I may switch to another provider.

I had my phone stolen a couple of nights before I visited the O2 shop, Southend. I entered and was greeted, and welcomed by Tye. He was so helpful and kind. Also, there were two other gentlemen called Ben, and Leeroy. They allowed me to use their phone, to contact my insurance company. Ben also fitted a new SIM to my spare phone. It was truly top-notch customer service in there. I recommend that you go there if you need helpful and knowledgeable agents.

shocking store and being called out as a liar by the store manager following a conversation that I had with a Manager at o2 customer services... This manager was supposedly able to diagnose a fault with a brand-new device without even taking any information from me! refusing to do an exchange even though I am within the 30-day exchange period!! what a shocking manager! needless to say i will be sending a complaint in to o2!

They need to review the attitude of the some of the staff there is a short man who isn't very helpful at all !!! I will refuse to be served by him again . The other staff are really nice and very knowledgeable and helpful

What can I say about this experience. Shame I cannot score this a NO stars. The reason for my visit was to gather information as I am looking to change my current mobile and broadband provider. I went into the store and no greeting. Fair enough that most of the operatives were dealing with people. When I eventually was acknowledged, I asked for information. As the phone I was after hadn?t been announced yet, I was simply told come back tomorrow after it?s announced. No, offer of an idea. And the attitude was that he couldn?t have cared less. Simple decision, on to my next of three visits. I had already visited one of their competitors two doors up from them. Good luck with your business model. For me it?s total rubbish.
