I had a beautiful lunch today at the Bistro . It was absolutely delicious and you get a big feast for under £20 including a soft drink ! ( set menu )
I had the soup for starters and then mushroom and spinach linguine! Absolutely bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection.
I shall see you again very soon !

This was my second visit to Leigh Bistro. I have Coeliac disease and I find it so very difficult to be able to trust restaurants. The condition and the cross contamination issues are very serious and I can be ill and out of action for days, if glutened. Our lovely waitress not only remembered me from my last visit but put me at ease and explained what would and wouldn't be safe for me to eat regarding gluten and cross contamination. I had the delicious starter of pan fried asparagus and then a fabulous steak with saute potatoes as the chips were cooked with gluten items so therefore, not suitable for me. My meal was delicious and thank you so much for taking my condition seriously and for keeping me safe. It is much appreciated and I feel absolutely fine after eating at your restaurant. I hope to not leave it as long before I return again.

We walked in without a reservation, luckily they found us a table for two. The food ( we had a roast) was superb . They didn?t over charge for wine and above all made us feel extremely welcome .
This a real gem of a restaurant. Thanks to all concerned

Food was Ok but nothing special. Went via a Groupon offer but almost nothing on the menu was included in the Groupon offer so if you wanted any choice you had to pay extra.
I wanted a steak which wasn't in the Groupon offer , on the menu thougj was listed as a £5 surcharge on the menu. The steak was OK, cooked fine.. when we came to the bill they charged us a much higher surcharge than shown on the menu.. seems the higher surcharge was because it was a Groupon offer..... This literally made there no point in using Groupon. Drinks prices were expensive and an absolute pet hate of mine was that when you order a coke (which is already really expensive) they give you a 200ml bottle... FFS, if you are ripping people off for drinks at least don't give them a serving that would be suitable for a 5 year old child.... A can of coke costs 30p, you are charging ten times the price for half the amount. Shocking.
Over all, OK but no better than that..
There's better for the money.

We had the good fortune of being able to dine at the Leigh Bistro on two occasions which fell within a week of each other. While we had only intended on a single visit, the fact there had to be two was no misfortune. The menu held plenty of interest and our various choices: moules; skate wing; steak; calamari; prawns, all arrived freshly cooked to order from the kitchen. All dishes were well presented and beautifully cooked. The service was attentive and good humourd which augmented to the Bistro's already congenial atmosphere. There is no doubt we will return to eat there again, preferably sooner than later, it is certainly worth a visit. The only caution we should add is with the Bistro's Broadway location it difficult to find on-street-parking but some local side streets can be used. We actually found space in North Street Car Park which is a short walk away from the eatery.

Really lovely meal here today, had not been for quite sometime and it didn?t disappoint. I had prawn cocktail followed by sea bass which was lovely. Rest of our table had pork belly, lamp rump and fillet steak, all lovely too. Highly recommend Leigh Bistro.

Such a lovely restaurant. My wife and I have eaten in here many times and with family. Our favourite restaurant by far. Beautiful food, great staff and so welcoming every time. Great to have found such a lovely restaurant. Credit to all at Leigh Bistro. We'll be back soon!

I recently dined at Leigh Bistro, a charming family-run restaurant nestled in the heart of Leigh-on-Sea. ? The atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the stage for a delightful culinary experience.
