Had my mot here . It failed halfords quoted £560 for bits that needed doing. So Took car to another garage . Total cost £300 massive difference

Took my car for service last December and dropped it off early in the morning. Got a call that afternoon from Halfords advising it was ready to be collected.
Just found out from my leasing company that they didn't authorise the service as it was scheduled too early and service light was not on.
Halfords never explained this to me and just handed me back the keys and said it was done.

I would give a 5 stars if they would help me fix the issue on the day. My window wouldn?t close and I had to dismantle the door by myself without having any clue of what I was doing so I could put the window up in case someone would break in, and then wait a couple days for my booking. But overall everything went well and great communication from them. I highly recommend them ??
