Please never set a foot on this centre. They not only messed me around for 4 round trips , the receptionist was extremely rude, inhuman and don?t know how to talk to people. I presented my car on Monday, failed the MOT which was fair but straight away tried to con me by charging me extremely ludicrous money which I refused. When I rectified the fault, went back in the evening to find out that he will not reinspect the minor defects and forced me to book another appointment next day at 17:00. The way he speaks is so demeaning, unreasonable and disrespectful. When presented next day, wasted my time and told me they have overbooked and he won?t be able to test my car. I empatheticly agreed to let him have my car overnight and walked back home in the pissing rain and was drenched by the time reached home. I told him that I will have to make arrangements to pick up next morning and agreed to collect the car by 11:00. When reached next day at 11:45, he started saying your car will be inspected once the bay is free and I lost my cool. I really feel sorry for all the customers who had to deal with him. This guy need some retaining on speaking to human. They are con and greedy. I would recommend small MOT centres around.Furthermore, the complaint email bounced back. So stay away people.

Booked and paid online for a full service and MOT. They found £1,200 worth of issues which tbh I wasn?t suprised about lol 2016 Ford with nearly 100k on the clock. They Discounted me down to £1,060 so cant complain really. The car drives much better and stops pulling. I am Giving 4 stars because I could have sourced all the parts required asap and saved money but they dont allow that. And my tyres / Rims where extremely dirty despite a fresh pair put on. Friendly customer service :)

No idea, why I use this company again is beyond me ! But I did and poor customer service ...yet again! Appointment for MOT and new Tyre booked for 11am , arrived 15mins before 11am and told - tyre is booked for 11am and MOT for 1pm ?!! Crazy eh !! So because paid online prior to Appointment, I was held to ransom and they know that !! Was told to return to pick up at 2pm , which I did. Car passed MOT , but ridiculous advisories for a car my age , exhaust badly corroded ?!?! Utter rubbish, and back break discs ?! Not a failure...just wanting extra work ! I certainty would NEVER use this company AGAIN !

I arrived at Southend just under 5 minutes late to be told that I would not be accepte in a rude fashion for an mot (4pm booking). Way it was spoken and the attitude behind it. I apologised and explained I had travelled from Ilford. To which the receptionist (male bald) said tough you need to be on time we work to slots. I again apologised to which the receptionist smirked and said the same thing, in the same poor manner. I then left and as I walked out, I heard the male say something under his breath (perceived as an insult) to his colleague (another male in there). This isn't my normal garage and I am disgusted how I have been treated, spoken to and the loss of earnings (child care, petrol wasted on long journey and precious time).I have since reached out to those who have used this mot place, to which the issues continue. Damage caused to person's cars, rude staff etc. Safe to say me or my family (used formula 1 a lot in Basildon) will not use them again. I would also advise others not to use it, not worth what I had to experience.

Booked and paid 3 days in advance and arrived at a very busy garage, but was seen and dealt with straight away. Two continental tyres fitted to front of car in 20-25 minutes. Good value and only criticism was a lot of adhesive was left on tyre walls otherwise it would be 5 stars

AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR CAR!!!!look at the state of all 4 of my wheels in the pictures. Order 4 ps5 tyres on black circles. It said f1 auto in Southend was my closest fitter so booked me an appointment for 2pm on Saturday 2nd march 2024. Upon arriving I get told 1hr30 for 4 tyres!? I?m already thinking that?s a long time.2hrs45minutes later I get told their done. I confronted the receptionist on the day who was Alan Fuller - regional support manager. He also confirmed that the damage was new and called the tyre fitter over who proceeded to try and say it was not him!!!!!!

Very helpful and efficient staff, with great service in both senses! Mario, the Manager, is very knowledgeable and helpful. He explains the work done and/or what needs doing without being patronising. A great experience and you know your car is safe there and that all issues will be resolved. Thanks Maggie

Needed 2 front tyres fitted.Appt was at 11:45.They started working on my car at 1PM.They were seemingly short staffed and busy, so not necessarily their fault.Lad on reception was nice and apologised for delay.
