The service in the shop was very good. We paid £30 to have our old bed removed and £19 for delivery. The delivery men were in our bungalow about 5 minutes. They left my 80 year old husband with the new bed still in its wrapping on its side. We have replaced a lot of furniture and fittings this last couple of years....

I ordered a bed for my Dad, but had to delay delivery by a couple of months and change location because he was hospitalised then moved address. Essex Beds were super flexible & even helped us to find bedroom furniture (something they don't sell) when he moved to assisted living. The bed is also fab. This service is the...

Essex Beds is one of the oldest independent bed retailers in the uk.
Established 43 years ago it is still a family owned and run business.
Known for value for money and personal service it is the first stop for the discerning bed buyer and the last stop when customers have visited the multiple bed retailers and been shocked at the prices!
The company moto is :- we are not number one, the customer is !
