I went to Bonmarché for work trousers and the sales assistant, Sharon was very kind and patient with me as I needed some help with what would work. Thanks to her I'll be wearing the proper length for my height. ? She was amazing and helpful. The clothing room didn't look the best, there was some dusty parts I saw which I think caused my allergies to flare up. Thanks Sharon!

The changing rooms are disgusting, u go in to change but don't now where to put your clothes, as just so unloved, came out feeling like I need a shower,how difficult is it to keep it tidy and paint the walls,and repair the damages

Love this shop. Lots to look at. The staff member who served me was very friendly and her customer care skills, second to none. I like the clothes and normally order items online for home delivery. For once, I just wanted to go into their shop in the High Street and look at the quality of the items. The Last time I visited their shop was about four years ago. That was because the parking for the disabled is almost non-existent. What spaces are available ie 3 in Warrior Square Road (nearest road to Bon Marche and perfect for us who can't walk very well) all spaces taken for long periods. I tried the Warrior Square car park three times but all 5 or 6 spaces in the designated disabled spots were taken.

Recently bought several pairs of linen trousers of various colours. After washing as per instructions 3 pairs shrunk and were no longer wearable.
Fortunately I returned them and received a refund. But was disappointed as I really liked these trousers.
As you can see from this photo, the blue ones had shrunk.

I have no idea if the management of BonMarche are aware of how wonderful their staff are at this shop. The quality of the garments is very good but Sharon?s customer service is out of this world . She goes the extra mile to please ALL the customers & is extremely knowledgeable about all the ranges and products . All the staff are efficient & helpful in the Southend shop but Sharon is stellar beyond belief . I will keep on shopping at this store for as long as Sharon is around . Great service , good choice & variety . Stellar .

This store along Southend High Street is absolutely ridiculous, I find it basically impossible to negotiate the over cramped shop with my mother who is in a wheelchair, there are far too many hanging rails and large box type shelving with jumpers/tops blocking ease of browsing which results in me catching hanging clothing with the wheelchairNot only that the store assistants are always standing behind the tills chatting and never seen on shop floor which must mean opportunists shoplifting as the door is completely uncheckedAnother problem is in event of a fire/emergency elderly and disabled people which are the main age group who are meant to he catered for are in danger of being trappedFinal note where shop assistants are concerned thre was 3 in store today when I attempted to browse with my mother, the assistants and I'm assuming one was manager thought that a delivery with one unit in the delivery was absolutely hysterical and ignored fact that store had maybe 4 customers who may have needed helpDon't bother shopping in this store the service and store are in serious need of customer service training
