I had some fantastic service from someone on the shop floor whom I cannot remember their name, and Jacqui (Kershaw?) at customer services that needs to be highlighted.
I live overseas and when I was back in the UK visited my local Asda for Yorkshire tea amongst other things. Unfortunately, the tea was out of stock but the helpful guy advised me on the next delivery time and pointed me in the way of customer services whom he said would hold a box back for me. I did as suggested and Jacqui took a note of my name and number. She then called me on the day of arrival and I picked it up the next day. She was not working that day so I missed an opportunity to thank her personally but want her to be recognised here. Thank you Jacqui and the shop floor assistant! You can take the man out of England, but not the England out of the man! Fantastic service!

Love Asda . This isn?t about the store but a WARNING about their new app for a delivery order . Last night it just didn?t work. At first it was selective about which items I ordered. When I got to checking out section it hadn?t added so many items. A second try let me through all the way until it wouldn?t accept the confirmation from my bank . Grrrr! Now I need to go shopping this morning after having wasted a lot of time last evening. Not a happy customer. Please sort it as I still need to put in an order . Someone hasn?t done a very good job .

The man at the pizza counter is amazing. He always makes such nice pizzas, he chats with the customers whilst working and is always so polite. He makes sure customers know the current deals and offers. I prefer his pizzas to the others that work on the counter. I only order when he's working there.

Lady on the returns counter (blonde short hair, old) was rude. I wanted to return a chocolate milk because it was sour and chunky but weirdly wasn?t out of date. When i approached her and told her, she made out like i was lying and said it seems fine to me, even though you could see it was separating and smelt odd. Even when i left i said thankyou for the help and she just replied ?alright? in a rude tone. Rude staff, won?t be going back to her for help that?s for sure

I visited once and had to wait 30 mins for click and collect, second time waited more than 1 hr. The staff comes and tells you we are busy goes in and disappears. Some of them are very rude as well. The management needs to mend its ways. Terrible terrible store, never had same issue with sainsbury, waitrose or morrisons.

Multiple times I order for a delivery and without fail im always getting most products that are not in stock supposed to be one of the biggest supermarkets. now I have to wait for a refund for the items I haven?t received which takes 3 to 4 days highly annoying not interested in substitutes will most likely shop somewhere else now.

I made up a shopping list online for over £150. Without booking a delivery slot. I used to be able to access it on demand and add to it. Today, under previous orders, it has been erased. No warning, no heads up. Nothing.
I will make a new list for deliveries,, but not with Asda. Ever again

Asda Shoeburyness Superstore is definitely the popular choice for grocery shopping in the area,
* Value: its competitive prices with their roll back promotions and frequent special offers and discounts, making it a good option for budget-conscious shoppers like me.
* Services: The store offers services, including a pharmacy, photo printing, and travel money. There's also a petrol station on site, which is convenient for filling up your car.
* Accessibility: The store is generally well-organized and easy to navigate, with wide aisles and clear signage. There's ample parking available, including dedicated spaces for disabled customers and parents with young children.
What could be better:
* Customer service: It can be a bit hit-or-miss but can't complain.
* Stock levels: Occasionally, certain items are out of stock, and empty shelves particularly during busy periods. This can be frustrating for shoppers who are looking for specific products but it happens in every store I been to.
* Cleanliness: the store is generally clean and tidy,
Overall:
Asda Shoeburyness Superstore is a convenient and affordable option for grocery shopping. It offers a wide range of products and services, making it a one-stop shop for most of the household needs.
Would I recommend it?
Yes, I would recommend Asda Shoeburyness Superstore for your grocery shopping needs. It's a good value option with a decent selection of products and services.
Additional info:
* Regular bus service with a bus stop right in front of the super store.
* Many other services and stores including a Weather spoons and a pub adjacent to the store.
* And a dedicated Asda clothing line George store

My elderly Mum was in the Shoeburyness store today, she took her shopping through a till and was looking for her son who helps her, as as she was looking around for her son, the absolute troll on the till took my Mum looking for her son as an indication that she was not doing her job quickly enough which my Mum was totally unaware of but got a lot of abuse for from the absolute inhuman person on the ti?, she said to Mum I can't go any quicker and then proceed to talk about my elderly Mum to the person she was serving saying I hate it when people think I can go quicker and was actually saying negative things about my elderly Mum and when she served my Mum was aggressive and literally throwing her shopping through the till, my mum was so upset, I will never bring my Mum back to this absolute sharambles of a store
