The Staff in gregs in South Ockendon are amazing so warm and friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The staff treat everyone like they are family that why myself and my friends make a point of meeting up there 3 or 4 times a week for a cuppa and a snack I can not express how amazing and welcoming the staff are.
Great place, would recommend to everyone, 5 star ?????

It's one thing being miserable, but when you're outright rude to the customer, then perhaps this isn't the job for you. It's a shame as the other staff members in this branch are great, except miss eyebrows...

All the servers are bloody racist. I've been there several times and ended up not buying all i wanted and this is not a coincidence. No wonder you don't see many blacks or Asians there.

This place used to be good when all the OG?s worked there but lately for the past few months, the service & food has been appalling! They can?t make lattes properly, especially the old staff. They keep hiring older women who don?t know what they are doing. Won?t be going in here anymore.

Waited over an hr for breakfast to be delivered ( even though i only live 3 mins drive away ) turns up stone cold, including my tea. Won't answer the phone when i rang to complain. Not the first time this has happend. Will never use them again !

Got a delivery. Food was all stone cold. Cheese pizzas were burnt black. Waste of money. Greggs are only good enough to pick up food in store, they can't do deliveries.

Everytime I?ve ordered an eclair, it?s ethier in a bag squashed or I ask for a box and they put it at the bottom with all food on top so it?s squashed, me personally would put eclairs in a box and keep them on top of everything not at the bottom or side of a bag. Just an idea ?And foods alway cold.Staff are friendly though!

Well its ok for ockendon/greggs and there very friendly but sumtimes u go in there get hot bakes then the next there cold, they dont use gloves wen handling rolls and there mixing money with this too & i see them spraying the stanless steel tops while the tongs were there and the hot plates with sausages were open....sumtimes u have to wait a while in morning 10 am as only 1 person there....

Basically ok for quick bite but hot food never hot and wen they serve sausage in rolls or bacon rolls no gloves ?.

Staff are friendly enough, but I went in early one Saturday morning for a sausage roll . Went into shop about 8 o?clock expecting food to be hot and fresh but it was absolutely awful. Cold and greasy tasted like it was left over from the day before couldn?t even eat it . The sausage roll ended up in the bin will never go back to greggs again .
