Always my first port of call, before trying anywhere else and today showed why. Saved me buying a whole new 3 lever lock by cutting two new keys with only half a broken original key to go by. Stephen and the team's skills know no bounds. Always helpful quality service, always value for money and won't sell you what you don't need

Absolutely useless. Was told by one clueless member of staff that they do a regulator for a 4.5kg (small) blue calor gas bottle...called again to say we were on our way, only to be met by another just as clueless member of staff, who said that they don't do a regulator for that bottle "not now that they have seen it"!...It's 4.5kg, so a small bottle, blue...I mean, blue is blue, right?...and calor, which is exactly what I said on the phone!!...what more info did they need?! So much for calling ahead to check stock!! He did offer to show me the one that wouldn't fit though, so I guess he didn't think he had already wasted enough of our time and fuel driving out to them! ?Don't waste a trip to them for their over inflated prices and useless staff. Shopping local was meant to be worth it for knowledgable staff....I will stick to Amazon (a third cheaper for the right item) from now on.

Always super helpful whenever I go in, give advise on DIY and gardening because I?m a complete newbie. Also great for cleaning products believe it or not, really great stuff. Also quick key cutting! Such a good asset to our little community

I moved to Sible Hedingham two months ago and today I needed some help sourcing some missing screws for my TV Stand. John was really helpful. He went out of his way to help. Fantastic customer service. Happy to have Darkins Supply Store as part of the community and I know it will be a pleasure to return there in the future.

Today my Son in law and I visited Darkins for some help with a fitting for his TV. We had the absolute pleasure of meeting the two John's who were simply fantastic in terms of their assistance. They epitomised good old fashioned customer service in a store that is so eclectic in terms of products that it offers. Forgrt B & Q this shop wins every time.

After moving into a rather run down victorian terrace in the village we discovered that Darkins either had or could get pretty much everything that we required to complete the refurb. Steven and the guys hold a wealth of knowledge and experience meaning we had people to turn to for advice and a few laughs.
