Staff friendly, ate here twice over the weekend while staying local, fish and chips on a Saturday excellent so impressed we came back for Sunday roast even better. Definitely recommend.

An absolutely lovely campsite for adults only with plenty of grass pitches, tent pitches and hard standing pitches. All the caravan/camper pitches are fully serviced with electricity and water for each. Plenty of room to have to yourself. Flat as well. It's so well looked after! The toilet/shower block looks new. Campers have a dedicated washing up area.
The only downside I can see is the hardstanding pitches are too close together and they only have one water tap between two pitches.
It's positioned behind the Star Inn which is a delightful pub serving Greene King ales, lagers and ciders all at very competitive prices. I had a pint of London Glory and wifey had a pint of Aspels cider with a total cost of £9.60. The beers are very well kept and tasted good with nice clarity. When asked to fill the glass with no head on it, this was done with a smile.
Food in the pub was very good, well cooked and service with a smile. The menu is not extensive but covers most tastes and there's always the 'specials,' board.
Live entertainment is provided in the pub garden and is always good, it's not on every week so the website needs to be checked.
Well done to the landlord and bar staff. And well done to the caravan site owner.
The country music on this Saturday was the best you can ever want with Steve Cherelle singing all afternoon and into the night.

This is a lovely pub and camp site. Very friendly people who are always welcoming. Food was excellent every time we had a meal. Plenty choices of drinks to have. Camp site looks as if it?s had a very good facelift, toilet block was spotless. One thing, you must read camp instructions when camping on site. Can recommend this place to everyone.

We camped for three nights with our bulldogs. Dog friendly. We enjoyed the Fleetwood Mac tribute on Saturday afternoon. The Sunday roast was great and it was reasonably priced. Would love to stay again

We had a great stay in the Caravan and Camping site, and how lovely that we were on a service pitch at no extra cost either.
The toilet and shower blocks were super clean, and the site was well kept.
We popped to the pub for a couple of drinks, which were reasonable pub prices. The food looked good but we didn't eat, although I think we will at our next visit.
We had decided to ask if it was ok if we stayed until early evening at the site, as we wanted to make the most of our weekend. We were given a price, but when I went to pay the following afternoon, the manager declined, and said we could have it on him - how lovely and kind was that?
We will definately be using this site again, everyone was super friendly and we felt very comfortable.

Cracking pub. Sat outside in the sun chatting to people visiting with caravans. Good selection of drinks with friendly service. Definitely recommend.

Lovely pub but avoid the bbq on Saturday. They got all the gear but no idea. Cheap crap. Buns that fall apart mush sausage. Just rank . Shame really. At least buy decent quality if gonna charge £6 a burger. The chips are those awful dry fat bits of crap.
Update got full refund . Not deleting because they need to up their game. Lovely pub though.

Brilliant place staff are very friendly beers a good price food a little expensive but great quality and the beer garden is stunning would definitely recommend on a nice sunny afternoon
