We visited to get a present for our 1 year old and her friend and we were really pleased with the helpful staff in the shop and the selection of lovely toys available, they gave us a range of recommendations and we walked away with a great outdoor water play toy and some megamax. They have both been really well loved, they made excellent gifts. They clearly know their stuff and we will definitely be going back.

I?ve been in here before with my little girl and was lucky enough to be served by a really lovely lady, but today, I got to the shop at 16:35, Google stated it was open until 17:00 but the door was locked. There was a gentleman inside who could see myself and my little girl who was desperate to go in, I knocked on the window & asked what time they closed and he didn?t come out just put his hand up to show 4 and then 5/10min later he came to the door and locked it and left. He wasn?t rude but I did say Google says 5pm and also he missed 3/4 more customers who tried getting in whilst I was stood outside; equally as perplexed as to why they were shut at that time. I understand Google can state the times incorrectly, but 2 things, why close so early on a Saturday and why work in a toy shop if you don?t care for little kiddies who desperately want to spend their money in your shop? As I said there was no meanness and the gentleman wasn?t rude but equally he didn?t seem to care that we were stood there and my little one was desperate to buy her paw patrol toy that we could literally see through the window. I was really trying to support small local business but it?s making it hard to do! Surprised by what happened and the more I think of it the more saddened it makes me.

What an incredible little shop! I contacted Catherine during lockdown to enquire about fillings for our advent calendars and she was just wonderful, digging out lots of little toys that would fit into our advent windows and delivering them too. Thank you! xxx

Amazing service. I enquired about two products, during lockdown knowing they were open but for click and collect. I agreed to buying the two products, and was offered delivery. Within a few hours it was delivered for free. Top service!! Thank you so much xx

Lovely member of staff on duty. Thank you. Lots of bits and bobs on sale.I loved the nostalgia with the card games.. Happy Families etc.Much smaller store than we anticipated. We travelled a long way for this.A one off experience.

Catherine put together an amazing package to keep my nephew's entertained during the lockdown occuring ATM and delivering them. Her choices have been ?, 3 very happy boys and has been so wonderful to help me out, with me being in Australia. Can't wait to visit the store eventually!

Cute little independent toy shop. Packed to the roof with toys. A little overpriced but that's to be expected with an independent. Is quite cramped inside so I wouldn't recommend navigating the store with a back pack like I did.

Used to look forward to every visit here when I was a child and it hasn't really changed. A very well stocked and charismatic toy shop!
