I have visited Santander Bank at Saffron Walden on many occasions with various problems. Each time the quality of service has been exemplary. I travel each time from Epping and always feel that the journey was worth it! Last week they sorted out my ISA in no time at all. Thank you.

I went there 3 times to open new bank account.They told me that they will call be back and I went myself and finally they told me to go other bank to open account.Worst bank that I have seen in my life.

The Cashpoint Machine stole my debit card! Nothing in the machine to say it?s broken or for anyone who wants to use the machine after me. Couldn?t pay for my children?s haircut and now very embarrassed.

Don?t bother coming to this branch to open a bank account, they don?t have anyone trained to be able to do it. They will send you to Cambridge or Bishop Stortford. Waste of time.Sort it out Santander and train your staff properly.

Staff including the manager the most unhelpful I have ever encountered - asking for a simple stamp on a bank statement copy - complete jobsworth. Discussed with santander call centre who agreed was being unhelpful and would expect some discretion from the manager. Let's hope this is one of the next branches to close if this is how they treat their longstanding customers. Went to the Cambridge branch later that day - couldn't have been more helpful - all sorted in under 3 minutes.

Not impressed at all. In a dog friendly town, with a 10 week old puppy being held in my coat due to being unable to walk (prior to final injection), I was not allowed in to bank a cheque. I think this was a bit strange as nobody was in there apart from staff and I had walked into town for only that purpose. Completely pointless rule in a place that does not even prepare food.
