“Local idyllic country pub with traditional wooden beams.Great variety on the menu, so it was a tough choice before deciding on what to have for my birthday lunch.Battered King prawn with sweet chilli sauce and salad too start, steak & mushroom pie with chips for main, apple crumble with custard to finish = stuffed to the gills.Portions were generous and service awesome.We'll definitely be back!”

“Stayed for one night. The pub is lovely and the evening was very nice.Our room was very nicely decorated and perfect for our needs for the evening. The only real annoyance was the people who were below us. Either they were being exceptionally loud or the ceilings are very thin. We also had to wedge our room door closed to stop it banging about, as we had the windows open, as the room was quite warm.Breakfast was lovely, staff were brilliant and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a decent room for an evening away.”
