Went for the first time today for a lunchtime meal. We received a very friendly warm welcome and were served efficiently. The food was excellent and well priced. Will definitely visit again.

Amazing food every time. Great personal service and friendly atmosphere. Had a Christmas set menu which was excellent value. Looking forward to going back and ordering from the main menu. Fish is speciality.

Went to The White Hart a few weeks ago
We had the haddock with poached eggs with new potatoes and salad on the side, slow cooked pork belly with new potatoes and roasted vegetables
The fish was very well cooked, skin crispy and well salted while the pork belly was so tender the knife remained untouched. The poached eggs added to the flavour of the fish perfectly
The dessert at the beginning was a tough choice between the dark chocolate cake and a lemon meringue but the waitress easily persuaded us to take the apple crumble because it is homemade. I'd never thought to combine two fruits by marinating one of them in the syrup of the other.
