Stopped in for a summer-evening dinner, and so glad we did. Service was exceptional, food was delicious, reasonably priced and generous portions, and the beer garden was a tranquil place to enjoy it all.

A very welcoming and accommodating pub with loads of character, great food and plenty of nearby parking and large garden ideal for children and relaxing in on warm days. A very varied menu on offer at good prices, highly recommended but remember to book as very popular.

Very nice traditional pub in Roydon, and well suited to pleasant dining. Staff very on the ball and pleasant. Pub very clean, nicely insulated and warm. The hot food is very welcome during these winter months, and did not disappoint. Pumped beer very fresh and well kept. Patrons all seem very comfortable and at home, lovely experience.

Visited the pub on Saturday. There was a private party in the beer garden. A band was set up in the garden as well. The pub was really nice, good choice of beers. Children and dog friendly. Staff were great. Apparently, they do nice food here, although I didn't have any. There was a BBQ run by the pub for the guests. A thoroughly good night was had by all. It's worth a visit.
