Today, i drank in this good village real ale pub. This pub had propper locals drinking in the pub
This pub is a propper English boozer
There were 3 hand pumped Adnams real ales on offer the Ghost ship was good.
Staff good and interios were 2 roomed and easy going place to drink in both rooms
There is also a stonking beer garden when weathers nice to drink in at back of boozer

Great place for a drink when staying in Wivenhoe. We walked along the riverbank and stopped here for a drink before heading back to the town. Nice atmosphere and pleasant staff.

Friendly bar staff and a clean, though compact, environment. Two big thumbs up for stocking grab bag sized Monster Munch and the uncommon Scampi Fries.Just a TARDIS needed to get Cheese Moments and I'd be in pub snack Heaven.
