Once I got through to a human being by pressing the appropriate options, (first two attempts I was cut off), the person I spoke to was very helpful. I felt as if the stray or dumped animal I was reporting would be helped. If you don't succeed by pressing the right options the first time then try, try again. I was able to send a photo of the piggy in our woods by email.

They accuse people of things before checking them out properly first. Apparently this cat of mine is thin and has a matted coat! Does my dog look mistreated and my other cats look under fed and uncared for? All cats are neutered and microchipped. All are registered with St Runwalds Vets.

Reporting neglect and cruelty to this charity is a waste of time, they will be left if they are considered to have shelter and water! Or given back to the owner! Several cases saved on my phone where several members of the public have pleaded for help for anyone wanting to see although distressing, but apparently it must be normal if they can be left in that state by a publicly funded and widely recognised charity such as the rspca! Will ask for money on adverts happily though!
