This is a lovely cosy village pub in a quaint village location with 2 lovley open fires,free convenient rear parking.Great food served by very professional staff. I recommend the fish and chips on a friday,Sunday roast and full english breakfast served Friday and Saturday mornings.Parking: Rear free parking

Fantastic village pub. Jackie, Sophie, Aaron & the team are fabulous. Super friendly & gorgeous food. Amazing fish & chips all homemade, including a lovely menu with a great choice of food. Breakfast also served from 10am on Friday & Saturdays. Tasty wines too.. definitely my go to pub highly

We enjoyed a lovely fish and chip meal at The Lion this evening. Food was piping hot and really tasty especially the cod which tasted fresh with crispy batter. A warm and pleasant atmosphere as always!

Great village pub ! Such a good place for a mid walk, warm and welcoming stop. The new management has made a big difference. Even the outside (and the toilets ?) are pleasant now!

This lovely pub has just been taken over, as of now only pizza and booked Sunday lunch available, but told this is to increase.Very friendly saff and locals, car parking and good ? beer.Looking forward to returning ?
