Visited to pay in old £1 coins but helpful staff resolved problems that my own, digital, branch had failed to do for months. Well worth the trip from Southend to Rayleigh.

Still closing at 3-30pm and not open Saturday morning, Covid is over so should be back to normal working hours. Statement machine was out of action for about 5 weeks, this is all part of the plan to get everybody over to internet banking so they can close all branches and make even more money.

Understaffed, always a long queue, branch can obviously afford a refurbishment of the place but are unable to pay workers to be in on Saturdays

Never open. I opened accounts for my children, but with minimal online access you basically need to do everything in the branch, but as they are not open on Saturday anymore this means I'll have to take a few hours off work to do anything which is a joke. I will soon be closing the kids accounts and a shame that this bank is not interested in new customers joining.

A joke of a bank, closed more than its open. HSBC state branches are closing due to footfall reduction, the truth is they no longer want you to use the branches and close as many as they can get away with! Latest excuse, closed for refurbishment? never know any bank to ever fully close to paint the place! More HSBC lies, to again lower usage in the longer term wish to close it permanently! - I?ve seen pensioners instructed to use other branches 15miles away with no thought or concern with their needs!
