Helpful and polite staff, however you need a bell on the desk at the back. 3 of us were queuing for several minutes. 2 wondered off and I had to ask the till for someone to come out and help. Never enough staff on the floor to help. Very pleased with purchases though.

Useless. Ordered a 36mm impact socket online. My wife went to pick it up at returned home with a 32mm. She took it back to swap it, and guess what, no 36mm in stock.They seriously need to keep their stock records updated and train their staff to actually look at what's being selected when picking items. This isn't the first time this has happened.

Excellent service getting my daughter?s first bike. Leanne went above and beyond for us when the particular bike my daughter wanted wasn?t in stock, collecting it from another Halfords store herself! Thank you, you made a little girl (and her disabled mummy!) very happy ?

I had an appointment today for a new tyre to be fitted. I had been given an advisory on a tyre a few months ago from a different local tyre company that I usually use (sorry Halfords!!) When my tyre was in for fitting today, the staff came to double check which tyre needed changing and if I knew the reason why? I didn't know the reason just that I had the advisory on my paperwork from the previous tyre change. I was then informed that NONE of my tyres needed changing as they all had between 5000- 8000 miles left on them!! I was then offered a refund on the tyre I had ordered. I am really grateful that your staff were honest in telling me this rather than going ahead with the fitting and taking my money as I would have been none the wiser if they had done. Needless to say, because of today, from now on Halfords will be getting my custom. Thank you.

Just spent the last hour travelling to collect my daughter?s first bike for her birthday tomorrow. Been given the wrong bike!!!called and been offered no compensation. Now my daughter won?t have her present on her birthday. awful service.

Lovely team at Halfords Rayleigh - Adam was really helpful when I phoned about my mazda3 which needed the service light resetting - many thanks Maddie who was so polite and friendly and did the resetting for me - thanks once again ?

Very poor. Till girl asked somebody to inspect my car battery to ensure correct battery, she was told to inspect herself. She was unable to carry this out because the BMW X1 requires plastic mouldings to be removed. As result of this I left site.Today I visited the Chelmsford branch who were very professional and replaced the battery.

Absolute nightmare never again from.start to finish.Had a stereo fitted extra hidden charges and nobody in the store had any product knowledge. I would never use them again very poor service I honestly don't know how halfords are still in business.!!

Useless online service and useless telephone system. Online service takes you round in circles and when you call the local branch, the auto system doesn't answer the query, asks you to go online and cuts you off. After several attempts have simply given up. Halford, you've just lost a customer for ever...
