I will never donate anything to this shop again, they were so unappreciative.!!!!
I rang them to ask if they were accepting donations as I had quite a lot of mixed items including clothing ornaments etc, they started asking if I was a tax payer?(which is none of their business) they did accept in the end so I took it all to them (no help from staff was just told to bring it in) I must have had 4 black sacks of clothing & 2 big boxes of kitchen items, ornaments, photo frames etc. They were not one bit appreciative from the stuff I?d just given them, the bloke behind the till didn?t even say thankyou. I wish I had never given them the stuff as there are plenty more friendly charity shops that would appreciate the amount of stuff I gave them. Never will I use this shop again. Rude staff?.

Bit of an attitude after they asked for Gift Aid and i told them i don't work. Told me was only accepting donation from gift aiders but still took my donation with a frown.
I could have donated elsewhere or giving away on freebay. Won't be back

Very rude staff, wouldn?t take my donation because it was 4pm which was ?way too late in the day? even though they close at 5pm. Ended up taking my donation to Fair Havens in Hockley who were very appreciative.

Lovely charity shop with a fantastic selection. Well laid out, friendly staff, they seem to have lot?s of new items donated by shops/ businesses too. Very fairly priced. Well worth visiting. I?ve had some great buys in there- new Men?s slippers for £5, new kids Disney sliders for £2, great selection of toys, clothes and books. It?s a large shop too so can spend some time there. Would recommend for gifts too.

I love the items that I've picked up at the shop over the last few years. Always find the staff friendly.

Rude staff, called to offer 3 very good boxes of mixed goods. They didn?t want them, not polite at all. Won?t be visiting this store ????

We dropped few bags for them. The lady at the till didn't seem to appreciate it. More like we begging her to take our stuffs. No thank you or smile or anything after we dropped. Would donate somewhere else next time.

Unfortunately the prices have let this charity and the staff down. Charging £20 for a NEXT dress just because it has a tag on still. I understand you are trying to raise funds for others, but vulnerable people also shop in charity shops as they are meant to be affordable.Charity shops like Barnardo?s are now directly contributing to the fast fashion industry and clothing waste, as people would rather buy something new for the same price as what you are charging for a ten year old T-shirt for £10!

Member of staff was very helpful, was unable to carry the item to car due to having my baby with me and the lovely lady carried it also had cleaned it and set it up prior to me collecting to make sure it?s okay. Thank you so much

Unfortunately I won?t be donating to this shop again in the future. Whilst I respect that not everything I had donated would be wanted, the shop assistants were quite frankly rude. I understand that it?s a busy job taking in donations and organising, however a small thank you, or a smile wouldn?t go amiss. Being made to feel that you are a huge inconvenience for taking time out of your day to donate is not encouraging. This is the worst experience I?ve had donating, every other charity/shop has been a pleasure to deal with.

I couldn't imagine I would come across a dress prized as £25 in a charity shop. The toys some of them £15. I thought it was so called ,",Believed in Children".And a charity should be beneficial to the community and the children in a reasonable way. I saw the same dress online @ Dorothy Perkins and it was about £17. To imagine it was £25 in a Charity shop. The woman isn't serious, (elderly sort of, blonde and tall) Crazy prices . When is that friendly gentleman coming back

I?ve just dropped off some children?s clothes to this shop. NEVER EVER would I donate to them again. How very rude the lady was there. (Old Blonde one) she said the clothes best not need cleaning otherwise they will go to the rag man. How rude. I took the bag back and said I will take them else where. she grabbed it back and said she will look through it and took it to the back. This is the 2nd time she has been rude about donations. I?d rather take them to the refuge centre where they would be appreciated.
