Went in for a appt for joint acct. One of the account holder had dormant account but with the help of Denise we were able to open the account we needed so thank you Denise. Two disabled bays at the front of Bank but were taken so I parked in the main car park which ia behind the bank and walked up with my mum. Do not park in barclays own car park as that is for staff but the car park is only 20 metres further away.

Terrible. Banks are purposely making branches inconvenient, short staffed in a bid to push its customers to digital banking. When branches close they all cite low demand?. Who is surprised if they make branches like this.

I was advised to go in branch as the service I required wasn't available online or over the phone. Awful customer service (although greeters were very nice), longest waits of any bank I've been into ever. I was met with arrogance and sarcasm from staff, absolutely unacceptable level of service offered, after waiting 40 minutes for a photocopy I was told it couldn't be done and I'd need to come back, I'm glad this isn't my main bank, I will be looking to move my mortgage at the soonest opportunity based on this experience and will never use barclays services again.

Why can't the machines take coins as well as notes (like the coinstar machines you get in supermarkets) and then the money could be counted automatically and put into my account. if they did I would not have to queue up every time and frustrate the people behind me.

I don't often use any branch, but the staff here were terrific; especially Jackie. Helped resolve a difficult query. The branch management should be proud of their team and The Bank needs to recognise the importance of human interaction.

Good 2 meter demarcation outside and a socially distanced and clear one-way stepping stone system once up the escalator. A nice suite of machines and a polite skeletally staffed kiosk service currently. Parking is a breeze for bike or car users right outside on the High Street. Ring fence extra time, however, at the moment, as doing a standing order early Saturday morning took nearly 3/4 of an hour. One smart bank!

Went to the bank door was left open so walked in and was told you can't come in go back outside by a very rude member of staff. How was I to know she left the door open there was no need to be so rude and a bully I only wanted to get some cash out so went else where with no problem at all. I will not be going back to Barclays. Letting only one person at a time in is ridiculous as long they are wearing masks everyone should be ok.
