Absolutely brilliant ! Food was amazing and staff were so nice and friendly! .. I was able to sit in a corner and crochet to my hearts content with no one judging or interrupting me ! If im ever in the area again id happy revisit... come on guys give this place a go its so quaint and cosy!

Called in after a long drive having been at a funeral elsewhere. Had a wonderful greeting from Kirsty who was bright and bubbly throughout our meal. Stopped to ask a question and stayed almost 2 hours. Food + ale + great staff made it hard to leave.

The Rose & Crown history dates back to 1642, if walls could talk it would tell a thousand tales.
