We attended a wedding here. Absolutely brilliant! Food was incredible and the whole venue was so lovely. Highly recomend a visit.

I can?t rate the food as we didn?t eat there. We walked in on Friday lunch time, pub was empty of customers but the manager wouldn?t let us sit in the garden with the dogs as it was for people having bbq only???!!! Which people and what bbq? There was no evidence of any bbq going. After I talked to him for a bit for better clarification and pointing out that I didn?t see any other customers for us to inconvenience he very rudely said that we could sit where we wanted. So we did, in the black bull pub very nearby and had a superb lunch in a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Can?t recite ref lion.

I want to apologise for the misinformation shared about The Red Lion Margaretting in a post recently made but removed on the same day. It was 100% incorrcet and we realised a short while after posting, that the statements concenrning non-payment and alleged phoenixing were wholly inaccurate and wrong. The fact of the matter was we had been supplied incorrect information that related to seperate co unattached to The Red Lion Margaretting.
I have since contacted both Billy and Danny personally to apologise for the unnecessary damage this may have brought to their repuations within our industry and as a company we are taking full responsibility for the mistake.
I understand the importance of accuracy and fairness in business dealings and would like to reiterate our regret for any damage the words may have caused.
We are now working closely with Danny to ensure that any outstanding issues are addressed in a more professional and more importantly accurate manner. James George

Visiting family over the weekend and decided to go for a Sunday roast on a whim. Had a really lovely meal - the restaurant wasn't too loud and staff were very attentive. Everything was very tasty.
