Didn't stay in rooms but noticed they had them . We ate in the tea rooms section called The Old Teapot, which is a good idea to have as an alternative. Very delicious lunch. Husband and I had the liver and bacon with mash and peas. Nice garden with plenty of shade for the dogs. Good menu. I could order the lot. People were super nice.

We stopped off here for a break on our way to our holiday. Lovely friendly staff, nice large beer garden, tasty chips. Highly recommend.
Fantastic friendly tea room during the day serving breakfast from 9am lunch from midday with large child friendly beer garden, ample parking with the freehouse pub opening 4:30 mon - Thurs midday Fri - sun and offering a carvery on a Sunday from 12:00 to 18:00.
