Attended the excellent life drawing class in the function room upstairs. Chatted with friendly staff and another customer at the bar. A relaxed bar and background music stayed in the background so it was easy to chat and hear each other speak.You can bring food from local takeaway venues and eat it here.
I'll definitely be visiting this pub on a regular basis.

But on another note? if I was living in a normal situation.. which is still available under certain circumstances?.
I have had a night out in the Red Lion? a while back now ? and I have to say I had a good night in there see a couple of former work colleagues?
The person who runs this pub in era where the trade is finding it tough to survive.. is constantly evolving the pubs output in regards to activities and things that are available.. to drink and eat.. I would say that this person really knows what they are doing???

Beautiful quaint local. Fire place and cutlery for takeaway foods. Constant fresh beers from local places on tap. Pubs own brew is very good too!

Great pub great service on this occasion I didn't eat my friend and I just went for drinks lovely garden to sit out in friendly staff I'm sure we will visit again.

Pub is notorious for its failures to deal with health and safety issues. It's an old building with potential charm, but that does not excuse casual attitude to repeat falls caused by the unmarked uneven steps. No food normally.
