We just celebrated my Grandma?s 80th birthday at the Haywain. What a wonderful time had. 23 of us seated for Sunday lunch in their events room at the back. The food was absolutely class. A very generous portion of meat with a choice of Beef, Lamb, Chicken, Pork & Fish. I had the beef brisket which was so tender and tasty. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The venue is superb with a nice selection of drinks and a lovely outside area which offers cover and sun spots. Highly recommend.

Went to a function here and whereas the supplied buffet can be hit and miss and these types of events this was very nice. Excellent sausage rolls!

This was my first time in Suffolk and we were looking for a nice country pub for some real ale and some nice food. This place did not disappoint. We had two steak meals for £40 with included a drink, which was an unexpected bonus and my Addams Broadside ale was excellent. They even do cocktails and my wife really enjoyed her passion fruit martini. The girl serving us was really friendly and seemed to be very happy in her work. I would definitely recommend.

A pleasant country pub and restaurant. Our second visit. We had the chicken burger and the pan fried sea bass, both very good. Sauces are a strong point of this establishment. Service a little slow but friendly. The car park is handy but could do with some repair.

Had our lunch there on Sunday - lovely people, food and beer. I?m vegan and sometimes struggle with menus but theirs is inventive and what I ate (chickpea and cashew nut roast) was exceptional- thank you to you all for making our first visit to you so enjoyable.

Fantastic food great menu.
Staff were a bit slow and young wasn?t really present or paying attention like we wanted sauces with our food and I had to go and look for them so order this with your dinner as they were round the back chatting.
I eat out most days and it?s really disappointing when staff are not attentive.
The food was absolutely delicious fantastic chef and food was fast too.
