Nice, clean tidy site. But over priced for the facilities available.

Very clean and tidy campsite. I visited with my 16 year old and my 5 year old niece. We felt very safe there and appreciated the gated entrance. The self serve check in was really convenient. The toilets and showers were very clean. Very quiet campsite. Would visit again

Terrible site with no facilities. Nothing open and expensive considering what's there

Really enjoyed our stay - very quiet and friendly staff!Pub serving food on site too ?Since this last stay we went again and I think we paid too much for two nights considering it's an adult only and children where on site and the pub was closed. Toilets had no toilet paper. So sorry this has gone down hill and will not stay again

Lovely new caravan and camping site in Suffolk, well worth a visit.

We stayed here with a campervan in May 2023. The pub is temporary closed. The campsite charges £30. The facilities are outdated. Price performance ratio is questionable.

Go to the gate and phone the mobile number for John the owner. He is very helpful ??

This was a bit of a surreal stay for me because I only have a teeny micro-camper! Everyone else had motorhomes or caravans.A well kept place with hook-up, good showers, water points, and toilets. In summer the food and drink is available but, understandably, it was closed for the off-season.I arrived at dusk and was intending to leave at dawn. The owner, Richie, was a star and really helpful.Only downside was the owners had a doggo that they very responsibly kept away from visitors. I really wanted to saw hello to him ?Can't wait to return when exploring more of the area ?Restrooms: Pretty clean and warm. A few cubicles. Two showers. A hand-drier, not towels. (I prefer towels when on a campsite so I can take a couple back to the van!) There was a tumble dryer in there too but not sure whether that's included in the price.

Very friendly staff. Good grass pitches, plenty of space. Toilets and showers available. Arrived too late to go for a meal. Will use it again for the ferry.

Okay, let's face it: this is one of these campsites where people only stay for a short periode of time because of the ferry. But the owner and his pub turn it into a fun campsite. He's friendly, has a good sense of humor. The food is very acceptable though veggies are a rare thing (but that's almost everywhere in the UK except for peas. The toilet and showers are kind of clean.

Nice campsite, warm welcome. We where late and had no reservation (thanks to another campsite) but we could stay here and had a drink in the pub. Very good option for the stenaline in Harwich.

Very kind staff, nice and cosy bar, pleasant site. Many thanks especially to Joan when we first came here! Great place to stay before/after the ferry at Harwich.
