“20-odd years ago I bought a Paramo Halkon jacket from the same company and it has lasted me very well with years of life still left in it, despite encounters with brambles and mud. I use it for birdwatching and country walking during the winter. I wanted something a little smarter for urban use and chose the Pájaro in dark grey. Action Outdoors didn't have one available, but supplied it a couple of days later. The shop doesn't stock high levels of clothing but that doesn't matter: you're there because you want Paramo so it's just a case of checking which item you want and the size you need. The service is commendably 'old school', and nothing is too much trouble. Recommended”
