Enjoyed our meal and would certainly go back again. The food was good but not amazing, but good. The service was also good and the staff friendly. Would recommend.

Nirala is the best Indian restaurant around for delicious food and hospitality. The manager is so welcoming and friendly and food is the best we?ve tried. We don?t live in manningtree but always choose Nirala over our local Indian restaurants, will be back soon!

Having eaten here before, I had no hesitation in booking again for a family celebration.
Upon arriving at 7pm for our booking, we were told it would be '5-7 mins' before the table would be ready. 30 mins later we were shown to our table.
Sometimes these things happen so we didn't complain about this.
We ordered drinks, 2 of which just didn't arrive and we had to call someone over for these.
We ordered poppadoms, which we got without any issues.
After being brought the poppadoms we ordered the main courses, and around 15 mins later we were asked again if we were ready to order. Probably should have been concerned at this point!
Around 8.50 I asked for an update on the food and was given a vague answer that the food should be on the way 'but not sure'.
At 9pm, 2 hours after the time we booked, we decided to leave, and we're given excuse after excuse as to why we had no food by then.
If you've made a mistake then own it and apologise! Don't argue with your customers and don't over commit yourselves to the detriment of your customers.
Poor service tonight and very disappointed by the overall attitude from the owners/managers. Thank you to the lads who work there as they actually attempted to apologise, which is more than the owners did.

Ordered around 7pm for delivery around 8p. At 8:30 called and was told it would be with me in 5 minutes. Called again at 9 and was told the same. Finally arrived about 9:30 (2 and a half hours after ordering). Unfortunately by this point food was lukewarm and they brought the wrong curry.
I had in the past had very good experiences here and ordered this as a treat but it just ended up being a stressful waste of over £50. Will try elsewhere next time.

Food always delicious! Service in restaurant & delivery not good at all! All about bums on seats/taking orders in, regardless of how much the service suffers, its all about the money!! The Manager/Owner VERY unprofessional & out right RUDE!! :(
