Wow my favorite cafe and deli in Manningtree !
Delicious homemade quiche fresh and warm right out of the oven, fresh scones and cakes, yummy milkshakes, the best Suffolk ham, and nice selection of deli gifts and take home products. The best lattes in town and the service is outstanding. Reasonably priced and excellent quality. Nice quiet (and cool) hidden gem!

Our first visit today. The coffee (decaf) was really good, an excellent tea cake that was fruity, spicy and hot, and a delicious warmed fruit scone. Everything was very fresh. We will be back!

Had an excellent full english breakfast with great coffee. Food was really good and all the staff were lovely. Cafe is dog friendly too!
Vegetarian options: Full english has a veggie version available which can also be made vegan.

Hobsons has always been my favourite cafe in Manningtree. The food is fantastic and always fresh. The staff are so friendly and helpful :)

Ploughmans sandwich for takeaway.. was a cheese, ham, pickle, with non ripe tomato, popped in a box with a few lettuce leaves... fully not worth £6.50... plus 1.50 for a cola..
8 quid for a standard sandwich... not worth it.. admitted at rip off Britain

My husband and I have been going to Hobsons weekly since we moved to the area 6 years ago. It is the best coffee and tastiest breakfast in Manningtree by far.The staff are extremely friendly and always make an effort to talk to the customers. Hobsons is very dog friendly and even give our dog a treat every week. We wouldn?t go anywhere else in Manningtree and always recommend it to friends and family. We would rate it 6 out of 5 stars if we could!

My Mother and I love going here. We often go for either breakfast or lunch. We have been going for a few years as regulars and the team make you feel welcome. Fairly priced and great selection of foods and drinks. We've recommended it to various friends and family who have all enjoyed their food and drinks. The quality of the food is great too, you can tell they put care into where they source their produce from too.

Well we had a tea and a coffee here and much as we like to support local trade I think £4 for a coffee and £3 for a tea is too much. £7 in total!Cafe Rio next door can do the same order for £4.95. Perhaps you could explain why your prices are so high as you are in the same street?

Been there twice for toasted food and coffee and have been very impressed with the quality of the meal as well as the kind customer service. Would recommend treating yourself to lunch here.
