Brilliant Opticians- I?ve used them for years. I did stray once to the ?B and Q? of the optical world and I learned my lesson!! Excellent professional service from people who really understand my eyes. The help in choosing glasses has been wonderful - picked up my varifocals and sunglasses today, perfect!! Today I have collected my new glasses and had a scan. What fabulous service from start to finish by every staff member. What a happy team. I had two nose clips replaced and was only charged £1.75 each. They even fitted them for free while I waited. Service like this is why my husband and I have been customers for nearly 20 years. Appalling customer service. I've been a customer of Martin James for 25 years and have always been prepared to pay top prices for spectacles because up to today, I have received excellent customer care. But today, they charged me for a lost nose pad. The staff in the shop have no discretion, quote: "I'm just following the boss's orders." They would rather force a £1.75 sale than catch a £500 order for new specs in the autumn. I should have gone to Spec Savers.
