First time shopping at a Lidl store. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were excellent. The store was well laid out. We wanted something that was on a Black Friday?s deal. To our surprise a manager was just bringing the item out on to the shop floor as we were about ask if they were still in stock. We bought some other products that were excellent in quantity and price. The checkout operator explained the advantages of having the Lidl App, to which my wife downloaded it once we got in the car. We will shop there once a month from now on.

Constance the cashier who served us was so rude to me as a customer. I will not be returning to the store but have written a letter of complaint to their head office about her aggressive manner.

Jumble sale section can contain the odd bargain, but prices are often missing & stock levels variable.Savings to be had by shopping here instead of the main 4 supermarkets.Frustrating when what you came for is never in stock, but always cheaper than Tesco etc .Good wine, great value single malt.

We love their Crownfield cereals, especially the Honey nut crunch. Half the price of branded products and much lower in sugar. They taste good too. Similarly their Magnum type choc ices. I'd say as nice as the originals and certainly cheaper.And it's impossible to come away without browsing centre isles.The product lines are sometimes limited but the quality is definitely improving.

Lidl store along the main road in Maldon. Good place to buy groceries and confectionaries.

A big bag of coffee beans for my coffee machine was the top buy, almost as good as Starbucks. A nice experience in the Lidl
