Avoid this pub at all costs. Terrible customer service experience and average food. After a long week of work I took my Mum out for dinner. We ordered a mixture of starters (all average) and ordered the pizza which came out with barely any toppings. We told the waitress how we were not going to eat the pizza as we were unhappy with it, rather than offering us an alternative meal or a solution to the problem the waitress spoke to the manager (who didn?t even come outside!) and said that we still had to pay for the pizza (that we didn?t want and had not touched). We were unhappy with this and was told to go inside and speak to the manager. The manager did not apologise once, offer a solution or alternative meal. She commented ?do you do this everywhere you go?. We have never met a more unbelievably rude or condescending pub manager ever! As paying customers in her pub she should have been wanting to make things right. We will never return again. Don?t waste your money in this place.

Had an excellent lunch on Friday, shout out in particular for the calamari which was not tough and served with an excellent garlic aioli, and some absolutely superb burgers for mains.

Lovely pub in a pretty village. Large garden with plenty of seating. And a great kids playground.

Quick, friendly service. We had the pizza and garlic bread deal with some sides and was all very nice.
Would recommend and visit again.

Had a Sunday Lunch today with a family of sixteen. Lovely food and great service. The staff were very welcoming and they could not do enough for us. They gave us our own room upstairs, which was very personal. The staff were up and down the stairs all afternoon, making sure we had drinks and everything else we needed. I would thoroughly recommend The Brewery Tap for a meal, or even just a drink in one of their comfy armchairs in the downstairs area. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely afternoon and being so attentive.

It was just really lovely, food and service was great, The best crème brûlée I can remember, and apparently a new manager is leading the team. A really lovely evening looking forward to returning soon.

Great family Sunday lunch. Luis the GM really made a fuss of us, all the food came out as ordered and was absolutely delicious with very generous portions. I had the roast beef which was perfectly cooked. Kids and grown ups alike all demolished their meals which considering we were a group of 16 was quite the achievement! Look forward to returning soon. Top marks!

We went on Valentines night. Oscar & George looked after us above & beyond. The Oysters and Venison starters were amazing! We had the fillet of longhorn beef for mains?. Best steak we have had ever! We are proper foodies! The steak cut like butter & the flavour.. just wow! All that was needed that night was some more staff to help 2 incredible front of house superstars! You smashed it! Credit to you both.

We went here a while back and had an amazing lamb shank for a Sunday roast.
So we decided to go back, this time they were offering beef and pork belly.
The beef was cooked medium which was great but was really chewy the sides were just grand as per the pork belly was on the dry side which I found odd as its very hard to ruin pork belly with the fat content involved and the crackling was chewy no crispy but I suppose it depends on how you like it.
We had 2 starters which was whitebait and calamari, the whitebait was the best I have ever had I highly recommend it.
The staff were great as per usual.
It costs us £168 for 2 starters, 3 kids meals and 2 Sunday roast and 2 desserts, please try the sticky toffee pudding as it was lush, with 2 rounds of drinks only 1 was a beer the rest were soft drinks.

Lovely hidden gem, I love going here. Friendly staff, nice environment, really nice garden with stuff for the kids to do.
