Were having a great day until we went in with our boys, as the reviews were good. Extremely rude, straight off the bat. We felt like they dint want us there. We just got up and left before we even ordered. Absolutely disgusting! Avoid at all costs!

Amazing place, ambience was good too. Unfortunately it was let down by moody staff. I'm sure the whole team in there is great, but that particular individual ruined the experience.

Polite and friendly staff, and comfortable enough. It a good place for a quick breakfast muffin before a walk in Epping Forest. The muffin turned up quickly and well presented - it looked like one from a poster ?
Only downside was the alarm engineer tested the alarm with no warning, obviously not a daily occurrence though, I hope

Really bad service , says it?s open until 9pm but the grills off at 8:35pm . Just drove back from Cornwall, kids hungry. Check your google opening times

The problem is the hygiene. Chefs don't wear any gloves touched everything and prepared the food. I actually asked the chef personally that we he isn't wearing any gloves and he said they wash their hands every 5 minutes. Well gloves would be also helpful.

Once I peeled back the sheen of nostalgia I wondered what I was doing here?.
The place was clean and the service was good so no bad comments on the staff at all.
It was like stepping back in time but surely you have to develop your menu and ingredients a bit. There are so many good burger places around these days? so this should prompt Wimpy to up their game. For the price paid it was very basic burger and chips. You get better at any kebab shop, only difference is it?s on a plate with cutlery.
My wife did like her milkshake however so can see why people go for them.
Amazed Wimpy are still in business.

It's Wimpy, so it's not fine dining, but I'm basing the rating on like-for-like with other burger restaurants. It's great for nostalgia value, not to mention the novelty of real cutlery, crockery, and table service. The food was tasty, hot, and plentiful, and a proper pot of tea to finish up. The prices are fair and the menu has some unique items. Every bit as good as I remember - we need more Wimpy restaurants!
